What I Remember

We heard the story but I don’t think we appreciated at the time how unique the story of Burlington’s Athletic Park was. The stadium was originally constructed in the town of Danville, VA about 50 miles north of Burlington but was disassembled and moved in parts to Burlington where it was put back together in 1958.
