What I Remember

The close proximity of most of the Appalachian League teams in 1991 made ir possible to do two parks in the same day a few times and this was the first of three-straight “ballpark doubleheaders.

We got rained out in Kingsport after just one inning but just a few miles away in Bristol, the Tigers managed to get their full game in before a night of heavy rain began.
