I hope you will read it. It is a good story and I don’t think I botched it too much. 1991 was a long time ago and a lot has changed since then but it many ways I think this story is relevant today in a way it would not have been had I written the book soon after the trip.

It is time for this site to become what it was intended to be, a digital appendix of the book. It is also going to become an entry point into further discussion of the important role that affiliated minor league baseball has played in communities across America. Over the course of the next few days you will see some changes to the site’s navigation to make it easier to find what you are looking for about our trip and also for me to share some new thoughts.
